The Outdoors Committee is responsible for coordinating all outdoor activities, including serving as facilitators and planning special events to celebrate and honor all Outdoor Volunteers. The committee meets at least twice annually, once in the fall and once before the spring/summer season and, additionally as needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and coordinating logistics for activities of the outdoor groups.
- Serving as facilitators for group activities.
- Recruiting volunteers to serve as sweeps and occasionally leaders on events, inputting data as needed into online forms and systems, and recording and publishing events through photography and videos.
