The Membership Committee plays a vital role in achieving our annual membership goals, which help ensure our financial stability, as well as in assessing member's satisfaction with OLLI's programming. This dynamic committee is involved in community engagement, OLLI Cares, and recruitment and retention of members. Meetings are held on an as-needed basis, with more frequent meetings anticipated during open enrollment and orientation periods.
Responsibilities include:
- Community Engagement: Identifying and representing OLLI at various UNR and community events.
- OLLI Cares: Creating a caring and thoughtful organizational culture by supporting members during their times of need.
- Recruitment and Retention: Developing and implementing strategies for member recruitment, orientation, mentoring and retention.
