Are you passionate about a topic and eager to share your knowledge?
OLLI invites you to present to our vibrant community of lifelong learners who value intellectual curiosity, engaging discussion, and meaningful connection.
We welcome a wide range of subjects, including history, current events, the arts, finance, health and wellness, literature, music, science, and technology. Presenters do not need to be OLLI members, hold a specific degree, or have prior teaching experience. What matters most is strong subject knowledge, an engaging presentation style, and the ability to communicate ideas clearly.
Teaching for OLLI is a volunteer-based opportunity and is not a paid instructional role. Our presenters generously volunteer their time and expertise, and many find the experience deeply rewarding as they share their knowledge, skills, and lifelong passions with engaged adult learners in a welcoming, low-pressure environment. OLLI classes are intentionally non-credit and stress-free—no tests, no grades—just meaningful learning, conversation, and connection.
Most programs are 60-90 minutes in length and are typically scheduled at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., or 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Programs may be offered:
- In person at our Moana campus
- Online via Zoom
- Hybrid (simultaneously in person and online)
If you enjoy teaching, facilitating discussion, or leading engaging experiences, we would be delighted to hear from you. To learn more before submitting, please select the Presenter Guidelines & Resources box below.
