Have you wished to explore painting with watercolor but just didn’t know how or where to get started. Watercolor Basics will be your jumping off point. In this six-week mini-series, we will explore though hands-on instruction, the basics of painting with watercolor from selecting the paper, types of watercolor paints, brushes, simple color mixing, techniques for applying paint, and composition. The mini-series is open to all artistic skill levels and no formal art education is needed. All levels of artistic skill are welcome, and no formal art education is needed. This is a six-part series that meets on Wednesdays from March 4 through April 8 at 2 pm, and each session builds on the one before it.
