Join us to walk in the footsteps of historic Nevadans on this Carson City Historic Walk. The walk will take us past original homes of timber titans, newspaper publishers and mining moguls. We will stop at landmarks including 1800s-era Victorian-style homes, museums and churches, and government buildings including the Nevada State Capitol. We will follow the Kit Carson Trail through Carson City’s historic district. Nearly 50 landmarks telling the story of the capital city’s history are featured here. The walk will take us approximately 2 hours – a total of about 2.5 miles.

TOUR SIGN-UP REQUIRED: Mark your calendars. Tour sign-up will open on Friday, May 9 and close on Tuesday, May 13. Limit of 25 OLLI members. A lottery will be held to fill available slots if demand exceeds availability. To sign up, log in to your member account, then return to the tour page to complete the sign-up process.
